May Birthstone: Emerald
6 05 2006April showers are over and the May flowers are already blooming in my garden, so it’s time to officially ring in the arrival of May (even if I am a little late) with a post dedicated to May’s birthstone, emerald.
Folklore states that emerald protects against evil spirits and ensures chastity. Whether that’s true or not, we can all agree that emerald is without a doubt one of the loveliest gems with which to grace your jewelry, from bracelets to necklaces to rings and everything in between.
